The company was incorporated on 16 January 2018, was based in Bracknell Forest, South East and is listed at Companies House as scaffold erection. Its last accounts at Companies House were made up to 30 November 2024. The notice does not give a reason for the insolvency.
About this page. This page brings together facts published in The Gazette and filed at Companies House. It does not say why the company became insolvent, and nothing on it suggests wrongdoing by anyone.
It is general information for suppliers, not legal or financial advice on your claim. Administrators and liquidators act for the creditors as a whole; for advice on your own position, speak to a solicitor or an insolvency practitioner of your own.
Dates and details can change after we publish. Check the Gazette notice and the Companies House record before you act, and tell us about any error. editor@fairpaymentcampaign.co.uk
If Harlequin Scaffolding Solutions Ltd owes you money
Work out exactly what you are owed
Total every unpaid invoice, including VAT, for goods or services supplied before 21 August 2026. Keep copies of the invoices, delivery notes, your terms and any statements.
Send your claim to the administrators
Claims are made on a proof of debt form, which the administrators can send you. No last date for claims has been set in a notice yet; one is set before any dividend is paid. Debts of £1,000 or less can be accepted from the company's own records without a formal proof, but sending one is the safe course.
Goods supplied on retention of title
If your terms say you own goods until they are paid for and they are still on the company's premises, write to the administrators straight away with your terms and a list of the goods, so they can be identified before anything is sold.
Before you keep supplying
Most suppliers cannot end a supply contract, or demand that the old debt is paid before supplying again, just because the customer has entered administration (section 233B of the Insolvency Act 1986). For any new order, agree terms and how you will be paid with the administrators in writing first. Take advice before stopping supply under an existing contract.
Read the proposals
The administrators' proposals were filed at Companies House on 28 October 2026. They include their estimate of what unsecured creditors will receive (see below), and creditors vote on them, usually by deemed consent.
Progress reports
Progress reports follow every six months, the first covering the period to 21 February 2027. The administration ends automatically on 21 August 2027 unless creditors or the court extend it.
Recover the VAT
You can usually claim VAT bad debt relief from HMRC once the debt is more than six months overdue and you have written it off in your VAT records (VAT Notice 700/18). If you have credit insurance, tell your insurer now; most policies set a deadline for reporting a customer's insolvency.
What administration means for a supplier
The company is now run by its administrators, licensed insolvency practitioners. Their first aim is to rescue the company as a going concern. If that is not possible, they must try to get a better result for the creditors as a whole than an immediate liquidation would, often by selling the business or its assets.
A moratorium protects the company while it is in administration. You cannot start or continue legal action against it, or take back goods supplied on retention of title or hire purchase, without the administrators' consent or the court's permission.
Unsecured creditors, which include most suppliers, are paid after the costs of the administration, secured lenders and preferential creditors (employees' pay up to set limits, and some taxes owed to HMRC). Any payment to unsecured creditors usually comes from the prescribed part, a share of floating charge assets set aside by law, or after the company moves into liquidation.
General information about the procedure, not advice on this case. The creditor's guide explains each procedure in more detail.
Money back for unsecured creditors
-
9.85p in the poundEstimate
Administrators' statement of proposals (AM03), filed 28 October 2026.
"Estimated Dividend to unsecured creditors 9.85 p/£" (page 31)
Read from a scanned document.
A figure appears only when the document states it, in pence in the pound, as a percentage dividend, or as a statement that unsecured creditors will receive or received nothing. We never work one out from the totals. An estimate in administrators' proposals or a progress report can change as assets are sold and claims are agreed. A liquidator's final account states what was actually paid. The money-back tracker brings these figures together.
Directors' other formal insolvencies
Other companies where the same person has been a director or LLP member and which have entered administration, creditors' voluntary liquidation or compulsory liquidation. People are matched by their Companies House officer record, never by name. Members' voluntary liquidations, strike-offs and dissolutions are not listed. Companies become insolvent for many reasons, and having been an officer of one that did is not in itself a finding against anyone.
